Diaoyutai State Guesthouse is both an important place for receiving visiting chiefs of state, chiefs of government and world celebrities as well as a venue for party and government leaders to engage in foreign affairs activities.
Building# 18, being known asPresidential Building”, primarily receives presidents and chiefs of states. Since its foundation in 1959, the Guesthouse has received more than 900 visiting chiefs of states and governments, and out of that, more than 600 were accommodated in Building No. 18. In February 1972, US President Richard Nixon who made an ‘ice breaking’ trip to China also resided in Building No. 18. Ever since from the year 1985, Coil had been supplying high quality products to the Guesthouse and, through dedicated after-sales service, had built up a sound friendship and collaborative relationship.
